PACA’s story was built—quite literally—by families, missionaries, alumni, parents, and teachers who gave sacrificially so that children could grow in wisdom, knowledge, and love.

"Escola Evangélica de São Paulo" began classes Feb. 8 with twenty-some students at Itaim Methodist Church; Ernie Warkentien director; school board organized.
Moved to a house on Av. Santo Amaro; PTA organized.
First soccer team
Moved to a house on R. Benjamin Constante in Brooklin.
Moved to renovated "horse stable" in Campo Belo.
Changed name to "Pan American Christian Academy" / "Escola Cristã Pan Americana".
Decision made in March to build and sell sobrados to finance move to larger property.
Rio Bonito property purchased in July.
Construction started on Rio Bonito property in April.
Joined Association of Missionary Children's Schools of Latin America
São Paulo High School League founded.
Authorized as a Brazilian school by MEC.
Moved to Rio Bonito property in Jan./Feb.
First 12th Grade Graduation in June.
Completion of gymnasium and pool.
PACA celebrated 25 years.
Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
Computer lab opened.
Parking lot paved.
POPS (Parents of PACA Support) organized.
Middle School Inauguration
Purchased the Nazarene Missionary Training Center to start a preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds.
PACA celebrated 50 years.
